Oops, they did it again

From BBC News:

So even though the sculpture is called “Monument to Pro-Life”, the BBC uses the terms “pro-choice" and "anti-abortionists”. When the term pro-life is mentioned it’s in quotes; pro-choice is not.

My personal view is that it’s not a government’s business to tell a woman what to do with her body, but nevertheless I find the bias in this report disgraceful.

And it's not the first time.

Sneaky and unprofessional. These are not so much 'scare quotes' as 'sneer quotes'. I hope the BBC receives a lot of complaints and is told to wind its neck in.

This is what we have come to expect from this "news" organisation. :-)

Sneer quotes - without doubt Clem. I find it hard to believe that guidelines haven't been issued, so why 'anti-abortion' and 'pro-choice'? 'Pro-life', 'pro-choice'. Simple isn't it?
