Sion Simon trying to be funny?

Just stumbled across this pisspoor spoof of Webcameron on YouTube. It was uploaded by Tom Watson, MP for West Bromwich, and features someone with an uncanny resemblance to Sion Simon, MP for Erdington.

You may recall that Watson and Simon were both involved in the coup attempt against Blair last month. The failure of that venture appears to have left them with a little too much time on their hands (but not quite enough to produce something funny).

If Sion 'Simple' Simon had devoted more time honing his satirical skills, rather than touting for a ministerial job by endlessly sucking up to Tony Blair at every opportunity for the last five years, he might have produced something more amusing than this.

And I bet that is how Simon dresses in real life!

And I bet that is how Simon dresses in real life! Well he can't wear the "I Love Tony" T-shirts any more.

What do you think about the 'Sleep with my wife and take my children' theme? Not very classy for one MP to say about another.

No, DfH, not especially gallant. If there is any justice in this world, this little vignette will come back to haunt him and destroy Simon's undistinguished political career.

Nothing personal or anything but Simon is, frankly, a bit of an arse.
