See that - that's me that is

From Ynet, the online version of Israel's largest circulation daily paper (hat tip Charles Martel):
A woman has made two appearances in photographs used by the Associated Press and Reuters, allegedly wailing over the destruction of her Beirut home. US bloggers have however noticed that photographs were taken two weeks apart from each other, according to times stamps on the images, and that the photographs were taken in different locations.

"Either this woman is the unluckiest multiple home owner in Beirut, or something isn't quite right," noted the author of the Drinking From Home blog.
And while I'm in self-indulgent mode, here's the website of America's highest-rated talk show host:

(That's enough feeling good about yourself - Ed)

The net is now chocabloc with similar pictures. Quite how the MSM survives the falsifications & mendacity is a miserable reflection on our acceptance of it. Thank god for the internet & those who move away the smoke & mirrors of the sewer-rats who would accept a Eurabian Caliphate & sell our birthright for a plate of poisonous Falafel.

that woman is a new internet star. she's got a job in hollywood sorted out - her grief is *so* real, maaaaan.

seriously though - well done DFH - its usually the U.S. blogs that make the headlines. Great seeing a Brit blog doing the business for a change.

well done.

and well done to that other brit blog -EU Ref as well. That guy has created a virtual hurricane in the US blogosphere... all in all - its great seeing the British blogs coming of age. Hopefully that'll change some Israeli impressions of us - they arent exactly friendly to us because of the loathsome BBC, are they?

oh by the way - let me blow my own trumpet ...
if you do this search on google, the top result shows a quote by a certain Winston Churchill.
quite proud of that - knowing that MPAC and the MCB are probably also searching on that term, and getting Mr Churchill's words of wisdom from 1899.

You are the best. No, really.

Notice how ynet on-line stories are full with links, referrences, comments and updates in the body of the story. It works like ablog and gives credit and traffic when credit and traffic are due (especially Yakov Lappin who is very blog savvy). It's looking into the future and it's a spreading trend.

Again, well done.
