Passenger Profiling
Monday's Newsnight had a segment on passenger profiling. A couple of quotes...
Muhammad Abdul Bari, secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain: “It’s a form of racism.”
Ali Dizaei from the National Black Police Association: “What you are suggesting is that we should have a new offence in this country called travelling whilst Asian.”
And yet white English men have been subject to profiling for years.

Of course it works - picked up a discarded News of the World at Gatwick yesterday and there was a full page spread re: profiling pointing out that the security staff shouldn't waste time on thorough searches of families going on holiday; rugby/football squads; white, middleaged business men etc but should concentrate on lone (or small groups) of young, asian males.
It it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck - it's a duck.
Too true, I didn't notice any complaints from white males at the time!

The fact that an organization such as 'The Black national Police Association' actually exists should tell anyone with a modicum of nous that it has no wish to work within the established system.

Oh.....I read that some twat has complained that there aren't enough 'black' faces on BBC programs. Without doubt the same complaint has been lodged about the dearth of 'white' faces on Saudi/pakistani/nigerian TV.

Black and ethnic faces are way, way, way over-represented on British TV. Los estupidos who run the Beeb out of London, where almost 50% of the floating population are exagamous, think the whole country is similarly constituted.
I agree with Permex about the BNP. They have been very canny and they've made some excellent moves. All they need to do now is field a couple of conservative black candidates and, with a sigh of relief, I am guessing a giant tranche of the population will feel able to vote for them.
As an aside, I do hold out some hope for John Reid. He has completely sidelined the ridiculous John Prescott and the ridiculous Gordon Brown. Even better, he has made irrelevant the vile Tony Blair. And twittery Dave.
Dave, with his windmills and his huskies is looking distinctly passé next to Reid. I hate Labour, but I think Reid is the next prime minister, and he's made of more brutal stuff than Ms Toni. (I'd even bet on him for a TKO against heavyweight fascist Cherie.)

I have an idea that hopefully would give Bari apoplexy. Until they settle down and act like adults, Muslims should not be allowed to fly. Airlines shouldn't be allowed to sell them tickets.
I'd rather see a bunch of dogs queued up with their pet passports that Muslims in burqas and sleazy men with beards.

BTW Ali, just like Ali G, you're NOT black. You're South Asian, just like a lot of Hindus, Jains, and Buddhists. Difference is they don't want to impose a Caliphate by violence on the rest of us.
