BBC Weasels

Bush: "This nation is at war with Islamic fascists."

From the BBC World News main page: President George W Bush says a plot to blow up US-bound airliners shows the US is still at war with extremists.

The blurb on the linked video shows what the President actually said, but someone at the BBC decided to change the wording for the front page. Via Islamophobic, who has the screencap (and you can see that it's not lack of space which forced the change.)

Here's some further examples of BBC weaselling from earlier today.

Dear Septic Islanders;
I am of a generation that remembers when the BBC was the only lifeline to the truth for myriad people in Nazi Germany & its occupied countries. Those brave folk risked their very lives in their thirst for real news, hope,comfort & solace in their misery.....and before I'm leapt upon, yes, there was some propaganda too...but it was in the cause of our common survival.
Faced with a threat unimaginably greater than that of Adolf Hitler, it is clear that the BBC learned more from Josef Goebbels than its founders ever thought possible.
Supported by a swingeing & compulsory licence fee, these schoolfriends of Ananias are feeding you with terrorist...yes, terrorist inspired politically correct economies of truth...& worse.
But I fear, dear stupid Septic Islanders, you have only yourselves to blame. People get the gumment they deserve. If you have chosen a corrupt, inefficient, PC nanny-state (not once but several times, let me remind you) & if you think that 'rights' without 'responsibilites' are cool, then enjoy it while you can.
The current administration can be removed...and so can every last seditious lizard from under the wet stone that is the BBC. You can do it....but it requires guts; a commodity seemingly in short supply.

The BBC is now run by islamists so their news slant is naturally to promoting this so-called religion of peace.

Al-BBC is now rewriting the Koran:

As it happens, the breaking news strapline yesterday quoted Bush as talking about war with "islamic fascists" - in quotation marks, naturally. By the time it had been transcribed into a story, though, the very phrase had been editorialised out of existence.

The BBC's determination to protect us from the truth is admirable.

I saw bbc a few weeks ago, on the Isreali soldier that was kidnapped, they refused to use that word. Infact a reporter slipped and said the k word and immedately apologized.
