Calling all dribbling imbeciles in Blaenau Gwent

From a Labour leaflet for this week's Blaenau Gwent by-election (via the By-Elections blog):

That Grant Mitchell from Eastenders says Labour are tough on crime, and nice Vera Duckworth off Corrie called you chuck, by 'eck! How can you not vote Labour after that?

My illusions...shattered.

I thought Henno Garvie would be above party politics. In Ultimate Force, tough guy Garvie doesn't worry about rules and regulations - he gets it done. If that means blowing away a few bad dudes, so be it.

But Garvie is now telling us to vote for the shiny suits and super-slick operators of Noo Labour.

I can't get my head around this. What next? Grant Mitchell telling us to get in touch with our feminine side?

I'm stunned - two actors turn out to be socialists.

Next you'll be trying to persuade me that some lecturers might be trotskyists.

Guess they are going to be on the Zanu New Labour honours list next year - provided they get a win that is...
