New Labour - Nothing Learned

Here's John Reid during an interview with Brian Hanrahan on the World This Weekend today:
What does it require now? It requires that we listen to the results of the local elections last week. Study them carefully, Brian. You will see that those areas which turned away from us were those areas which came to us under New Labour and are now getting increasingly worried that we are abandoning the New Labour approach.
So all those people who voted BNP in Barking & Dagenham are worried that the government is “abandoning the New Labour approach", are they?

And everyone who voted against the self-serving hypocrites of the New Labour elite was in fact pleading for more sleaze, more corruption, and more gross incompetence?

Reid went on to say that those who want to get rid of Blair are “on a different planet.” Well, Mr Reid, somebody certainly is.

It reminded me of Homer Simpson.

People who describe armed robbery as a serious crime must be on another planet too.,,30000-1221009,00.html

"He warned the final figure may increase to "several hundred" if armed robbers are included in the most serious criminals category."
