More from Indymedia Ireland
Just noticed another great ‘article’ from Indymedia Ireland:
Read it all - it's spectacularly awful. And if the final paragraph doesn’t make you cringe nothing will:
“An investigation into how the premiere (sic) golfing competition, the Ryder Cup, is coming to Ireland” by Frances Nunan from the Athy Residents Againt (sic) Waste. If I didn't know better I'd say it was a parody. I think my favourite bit is this:
Aspects surrounding a seemingly innocuous golfing competition raise grave concern. Firstly, the location has triggered a major investment in local infrastructure.Oh no, not a major investment in local infrastructure!
Read it all - it's spectacularly awful. And if the final paragraph doesn’t make you cringe nothing will:
What's transpiring at the K Club is a Krying Shame at best, and Kapitalist Kontempt at worst. Well done to RTE and the rest of the mainstream media for not being able to get their heads out of the sand in the bunker again and taking their eye off the birdie again.Urrrrh!

who are those nutters at this indymedia ireland? golf actually has a huge following in ireland - even working class people follow it.
its not unknown for ordinary , working class folks to have a game at the weekend in kinsale or elsewhere. tiger woods regularly has a private putt in kerry, and drops into the local cafe in the village nearby. nobody bats an eyelid.
indymedia ireland is just a tiny percentage, no more than a handful, of nutters - you find similar folks in the UK Respect party.
"Firstly, the location has triggered a major investment in local infrastructure."
Oh my God! Those heartless bastards.
No wonder he's worried. It's the thin end of the wedge; a slippery slope to doom.
Today, it's a major investment in local infrastructure - tomorrow it will be, yes...
THE COMFY CHAIR!
Not the comfy chair!!!
Indymedia France called for riots and violence against police forces during the CPE crisis. I understand Indymedia to be some kind of asylum for teenage anarchists who live in their parents' basement and wear T-shirts sporting Che Guevara's mug with the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament logo and the anarchy symbol sewn on.
