Flags Allowed in Trafalgar Square

(Updated - picture replaced with links)

Remember that bylaw banning the flying of flags in Trafalgar Square? Well, as expected in Livingstone's London, it appears to have been waived for today's pro-Palestine demonstration. Pictures here and here via this Galloway supporter's blog. If you look in the background of the second picture there's even a Scottish saltire! We weren't allowed to fly the Cross of St George at the Free Expression demo.

The turnout looks a bit piss poor considering the rally was organised and supported by all of the following organisations:
Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Association of Palestinian Community, Palestinian Return Centre, British Muslim Initiative, Friends of Al-Aqsa, Palestinian Forum in Britain, Just Peace UK, Muslim Association of Britain, Jews for Justice for Palestinians, Pax Christi, Stop the War Coalition, Campaign for Freedom and Justice for Samar and Jawad, War on Want, Arab Media Watch, NUJ, NUM, PCS, GMB, CWU, RMT, NATFHE, The 1990 Trust, UNISON, ICAHDUK.
Did they send one representative each?

wow the racist bigots were very low on turn out. excellent to see. by the way does that mean the free march demo can have its images removed from the galloway supported 'stop islamophobia' site. must do.

I only took the photo off because he said please. I don't know why he thinks linking to his crappy pictures is more acceptable - doesn't bother me either way.

What a pity that the 'leaders' in that region are too busy fighting each other and destroying the infrastructure (are there any greenhouses left in Gush Katif?) to concentrate on allowing a country to function. Instead, we are told we must continue our jizya payments to fund the mini-jihad.

Meanwhile, the...
