BBC Gaza Day

It’s been Gaza Day on BBC Radio Five Live, with regular reports on what life is like for Palestinians under the repressive boot of the evil Israelis.

To give you an example of the kind of stuff they’ve been broadcasting, here’s a snippet (mp3, 180k, 26 secs) from a James Reynolds report I heard on the Victoria Derbyshire show this morning. Two rockets are launched into Israel to the sound of cheering crowds, and children can clearly be heard joining in the celebration. My first thought was what kind of monsters let their kids hang around such activities when the chances are that Israel will retaliate, but that doesn't seem to occur to Reynolds. Instead, he says this:
In the last month or so it’s important to say that about two hundred of these rockets have been fired and they have very rarely injured Israelis but the intent is to injure.
they have very rarely injured Israelis” Nothing to worry about then?

the intent is to injure” No, the intent is to kill, you moron. Unbelievable.

And where did Reynolds get the recording of the terrorists launching the rockets? Was it staged specially for the BBC?

(To hear the full report click here. 2 hours, 38 min, 20 sec in - forward clicking may not work with Firefox. Available until next Monday)

I'm away for a few days now - back at the weekend.

The other day I followed a link to a blog that follows the moronic utterings of Polly Toynbee. Unfortunately, my 'History' got wiped when my PC crashed. Do you have any idea which blog it was?

OT.. but i'd like to bring this to your attention

get a load of this paranoid ranting from MPAC

"Zionist Blogs too, are too well researched and co-ordinated to be the work of individuals. No part time nut could watch every minute for any slip by a Muslim group as vigilantly as they do. Most probably they are part of a well funded central network. They are another weapon in the growing armoury of the Zionist machine that is deployed against Muslims."

Bye folks - i'm off to cash that blogging cheque I got last week from the Israeli government.

The MPAC ranting is in response to this on LGF

seems like some fan of the moon god, working at Reuters, has been sending death threats to LGF.

Shalom, DfH. I always though that you and your well-funded Zionist friends are like a well-oiled machine. When you first saw Bunglawala's bungle, you were straight on the phone to my network of Zionist friends, I reckon.

I think the MPACUK article is a piece of satire worthy of Private Eye. The writer is a comedy genius. Give him a comedy series on Radio 4.

That MPACUK article is deranged. Beyond parody.

(Grimer - I'm sure you've found out by now but just in case - )
