The Home Office has overseen the release from prison of over a thousand foreign nationals, many guilty of extremely violent crimes, and it is unable to consider their deportation because it doesn’t know where most of them are.

Now read this from Sky News editor Adam Boulton’s blog:
At the very top in Downing Street some are privately asking what all the fuss is about.
I repeat - WTF?!

Could this administration be any more out of touch with the real world?

Ach, it's no big deal, DfH; a small pimple on the nose of New Labour's beautiful reforming, modernising and delivering face - a face of Prescottian beauty.

The Home Office is brilliant and is doing a great job on asylum and other matters; and, with Lackey MP Andy Burnham at the helm, the ID card scheme will be a winner too!

This is has been the greatest year ever for the Home Office! Hurrah!
