Islam "should be judged differently"

The Swedish Chancellor of Justice Göran Lambertz has shut down an investigation into activities at the Grand Mosque in Stockholm where tapes had been on sale encouraging Muslims to take part in jihad against Jews, “the brothers of pigs and apes". In a jaw-dropping justification, Lambertz claimed such statements
“should be judged differently – and therefore be regarded as permissible – because they were used by one side in an ongoing and far-reaching conflict where calls to arms and insults are part of the everyday climate in the rhetoric that surrounds this conflict.”
(From, where there is also a petition against Lambertz's decision. Via LGF)

There are 400,000 Muslims and 16,000 Jews in Sweden. It's like Mark Steyn said:
“The Jews are playing their traditional role of the canaries in history's coal mine.”
Appeasers like Lambertz can’t hear the alarm because they’ve got their fingers in their ears and are shouting “It’s the Religion of Peace! It’s the Religion of Peace!”

(The former Swedish Foreign Minister Laila Freivalds was forced to resign because she lied about her involvement in the closure of a website which had published the Mohammed cartoons. Swedish politicians - they'll do anything for Islam.)
