Falconer & the Constitutional Affairs Committee

I’ve just been watching some of Lord Falconer’s appearance before the Constitutional Affairs Committee. This may be hard to believe but it was actually even more boring than it sounds. However, I did quite like this guy:

He’s Andrew Tyrie, MP for Chichester, and his laid-back disdain for Falconer would’ve done Jeremy Paxman proud. According to today's Sun the BBC pays the Newsnight presenter more than £1 million of our money every year; they should keep Tyrie in mind as a cheaper replacement.

Also, Dr Alan Statham from the Channel 4 comedy Green Wing appears to have changed his surname to Whitehead:
