Danish government increases grovelling fund.

COPENHAGEN (Reuters) - Denmark will boost its spending on Middle East relations by up to 20 percent this year to try to repair damage caused by the row over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad, a Foreign Ministry source said on Monday.
A Danish newspaper first published the cartoons last year, outraging Muslims who consider drawings of the Prophet to be blasphemous. Protesters in Islamic countries have since attacked Danish embassies and boycotted products from the country.
"The budget (for Denmark's main Middle East relations programme) is currently around 100 million Danish crowns (9 million pounds) a year and this will increase by 15 to 20 percent," the ministry source told Reuters.
I wonder how they’ll spend the extra money winning over the Middle East. How about an advertising campaign supporting the slaughter of Christian converts, or some funds to promote more female genital mutilation in Egypt, or maybe the sponsorship of another anti-Semitic professor in Saudi Arabia.

It’s time to stop all this bowing and scraping to Islamic countries over a few pictures. They should be the ones apologising to the rest of the world for their medieval treatment of women and non-Muslims.

You are being really unreasonable.

Since the year began, there has been a marked decline in the number of Danish embassies available for Islamists to burn. Clearly the Danish government was not playing it's part in ending this scandalous deprivation, but now it has realised the error of it's ways and will play a full part in providing targets.

Well that must be it then. The money is going to rebuilding embassies. After all, those poor Muslims do need something to shoot at that won't get them in trouble.
